United Way of Weld County (UWWC) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities across Weld County. For over 75 years, UWWC has worked alongside local partners, donors, and volunteers to tackle the root causes of Weld County’s most pressing issues. We focus our efforts through five strategic initiatives: Reading Great by 8, Thrive by 25, Weld’s Way Home, Aging Well, and Connecting Weld. These initiatives address early childhood development, youth success, housing stability and homelessness, older adult support, and community connection and access to resources.
UWWC doesn’t just respond to short-term needs—we build long-term solutions by supporting a network of programs and partnerships that create measurable impact. From helping families find stable housing to ensuring children are reading at grade level, every dollar donated stays local to create change where it’s needed most.
Local businesses play a vital role in our mission. Whether through employee giving campaigns, sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, or becoming a Cornerstone Partner, businesses can align their community values with meaningful action. Together, we create a stronger, healthier Weld County—where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
